Ahh… this is the life, sitting in the wonderful rays of the sun never getting sunburned and always a bottomless cup of lemonade. Now this sounds like a pretty awesome resort or if you were Adam and Eve then you stay there for eternity. With a choice of staying in the Garden of Eden for a week or for eternity, who would choose the second one. Well, you just exercised your right to freewill. Now what is freewill? Exactly! Freewill can mean different thing to different people. To one person it might mean that he or she is not a robot, while to another it might mean that a stranger can steal an ice cream cone from ice cream man. If God has freewill then why did he give it to us? You might recall that I said that the correct definition was being able to control our thoughts, but the real definition is that freewill is being able to choose to accept or deny the love of Christ. Because God loved us so much he created a world where man could love God back. But we would still have to make a choice of whether we should or should not love him.
