INTRODUCTION
The organisation can be defined as “the planned coordination of the activities of a number of people for the achievement of some common, explicit purpose or goal, through division of labour and function and through a hierarchy of authority and responsibility.” Organisations are not just means used by groups of people to achieve some goals. They present different images like, Organisations as machines Organisations as living systems Organisations as brains Organisations as political systems Organisations as culture Organisations as psychic prison
Organisational Study Organisational Study is the systematic study and careful application of knowledge about how people as individuals and as groups-act within Organisation. An Organisational Study encompasses the study of organisations from multiple viewpoints method, and level of analysis. Whenever people interact in organisation many factors come into play. Modern organisational studies attempt to understand and model these factors. This Organisational Study was done as partial fulfilment of the requirement for the Award of Master of Business Administration (MBA).The chief objective of the study is to understand the working of various department functions during a particular period and the concept of organisation. It also enables students to explore issues and problems in an organisational setting. It provides the students the opportunity to know observe, learn,

collect and analyse the nature and mission. This organisation study is limited to acquire the knowledge regarding the function as well as the management aspects of FREEZE EXIM, AROOR 1.1 Scope of the study The marine sea food industry has made substantial progress during the postindependence phase. Currently, India is a major producer of sea food.
