Only in this way can the language show its specialties.
Well, how much do you know about the history of the French language? To tell you the truth, the French language was developed from the Latin of the Roman Empire, and is divided into three historic periods. There are old French, middle French and modern French. During all these periods, the French language was heavily influenced by other languages. For example, old French was infused with Germanic words and sounds when barbarian tribes invaded and settled in France after the failure of the Roman Empire. Middle French also borrowed heavily from the Italian language during the renaissance. The close proximity of both Germany and Italy also allowed for a great transmigration of linguistic and cultural practices.
Of course, we know france is filled with romance. Similarly, French is a romance language globally spoken by about 77 million people as a first language. By 190 million as a second language, and by about another 200 million

After only a couple weeks in France I found out that the language is a much more important aspect of the culture than it appears to be, the first week or so in Nice I was told that french people are often rude and have some sort of arrogance towards foreigners, especially american or english speaking people. As I began to familiarize with the streets of Nice and ways of transportation I often ended up somewhere I did not mean to be at, or simply lost. I found that whenever I asked for directions and tried to speak to someone in either english or spanish the vast majority of people would tell me that they did not understand and turn away; nevertheless I could always find someone who would try to communicate with me to help me find my way.…

Spanish is a part of the Ibero-Romance group of languages, which evolved from several dialects of common Latin in Iberia after the collapse of the Western Roman Empire in the fifth century. It was first documented in central-northern Iberia in the ninth century and gradually spread with the expansion of the Kingdom of Castile into central and southern Iberia.[5] From its beginnings, Spanish vocabulary was influenced by its contact with Basque and by other related Ibero-Romance languages and later absorbed many Arabic words during the Muslim presence in the Iberian Peninsula.[6] It also adopted many words from non Iberian languages, particularly the Romance languages Occitan, French, Italian and Sardinian and increasingly from English in modern times, as well as adding its own new words. Spanish was taken to the colonies of the Spanish Empire in the sixteenth century, most notably to the Americas as well as territories in Africa, Oceania and the Philippines.[7][dead link]…
