Friar Lawrence Character Analysis
Not only the Nurse and Friar Lawrence was at fault for the death of Romeo and Juliet but also Capulet. This is because of his actions towards Juliet and his character. His character changes from being a nice, polite and caring father whereas after the death of Tybalt, he becomes this angry typical type father. Not knowing how Juliet truly feels, he forces her to get married to Paris even though she didn’t want to. He made her feel pressurized and also made her feel scared of what was going to happen next. He made her feel trap like she doesn’t have a choice to weather to marry him or not. Therefore, he should also be blamed for the death of Romeo and Juliet.
