The article, “Why is Friday the 13th Considered Unlucky?” would not be able to convince people that Friday the 13th is unlucky. The article actually debunks the common myth. “Despite centuries of superstitious behavior, it largely seems like psychological mumbo jumbo” (Hutchinson). The author proves that Friday the 13th isn’t unlucky and writes about the origin of the superstition. Therefore, the article, “Why is Friday the 13th Considered Unlucky?” would not be able to convince that Friday the 13th is unlucky because it contradicts the credulity.
