From Jeddah to Billings
From Jeddah to Billings My town is in Saudi Arabia. It is located in west coast. I have lived there for long time. I like my town very much. We famous for our ascents because our country it has a lot of accents in Saudi Arabia. Jeddah is a large city. It has a red sea with a beach. The Population there is three million and four hundred thousand people. A few people live in Jeddah that are from other countries such as India, Pakistan, Egypt, and Asia. The nick name for Jeddah is Mermaid. Jeddah earned this nickname from having many beaches. First port of Islam is in Jeddah. We have a second largest fountain in the whole world. This location is important for our government because of the trade market. Jeddah is second largest city in Saudi Arabia known for trade and industry. The weather in Jeddah is warm and hot in the summer and in the winter it is cold. We have a lot of popular malls. I love my city Jeddah because I was born there and have lived most of my life there. It is very much still my home.
I currently live in Billings, Montana as a student of English at MSU-B. Billings is a nice city but it is not Jeddah. Billings only has one mall. One of the most famous rivers in the world flows through Billings, but it still does not have any beaches. Like Jeddah, Billings also has a nickname, “the Magic City.” Billings earned this name from how fast Billings grew into a town from a Railroad Outpost. In Jeddah the winters are cold, but the winters in Billings are much colder and full of snow. I enjoy learning the American culture and Billings has a lot of friendly people, but because I do not know many people it is hard for me to find help from strangers. In my home everyone are brothers of our kingdom and it is our culture to help anyone. Beaches are a big part of my life because I love to surf. In Billings there are no beaches so it saddens me to miss out on my favorite hobby for so long. One similar thing that Jeddah and

A True Testament of Time, The Preamble to the Constitution The succinct, memorable, and iconic legal document, the Preamble to the Constitution, is a true testament to the American style of writing and is an instantly recognizable piece of literature when the first three words are heard. The document, written by many members of early American politics such as Gouverneur Morris, a founding father, an American statesman, and an acclaimed diplomat and senator, aided heavily on the considerable impact the Constitution had on not just the nation, but the world. Senator Morris’s work on projects such as the 1777 Articles of Confederation, what some consider to be the “original” constitution of America, was what helped make positive progress in early…

One of many positive outcomes of coming to America has been the opportunity to visit and explore new places. I have lived in Texas, Louisiana, the Mojave Desert in California, North Dakota, and Kansas. I’m the first, and maybe I will be the only, member of my family who have traveled the most and who have lived in so many different places. I love the fact that I have been able to learn about other cultures, enjoy so many different kinds of food and meet wonderful people from other countries, not just American. These experiences would have never been possible if I did not come here in the first…
