In this next section S.W.O.T analysis will be used to analyze the festivals strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats which will provide the framework that the recommendations will be based upon. The festival has many strengths that have enabled its continued success since its infancy. The location for the festival alone is a great strength as it takes place within the popular Gros Morne National Park which provides a setting of amazing natural landscapes, and spectacular scenery for the event. It is apparent that the festivals majority of customers are locals from nearby communities, which is great as it shows the festival has the support of the nearby communities, and does not rely on visitors from afar or out of the providence. The strong focus on community can also be seen within the festival as there are various local artists, musicians, and writers showcased along with the numerous local programs and collaborations with local arts groups, including the: Theatre Newfoundland and Labrador, Gross Morne Summer Music Program, and school outreach programs.…

Celebration was founded in 1994 on Disney-owned land that had previously been undeveloped (and used for relocating alligators which had been caught near Disney guest areas). Celebration was de-annexed from the Reedy Creek Improvement District. Coincidentally, the original 1967 borders of the City of Reedy Creek covered much of the land that is now Celebration, before the borders of Reedy Creek were moved northeast in 1969 and the town was shortly thereafter renamed to the City of Lake Buena Vista. At that time, this city (along with the City of Bay Lake) covered only portions of the Reedy Creek Improvement District, presumably the portions that were being considered for communities.…

“The Novel Démeublé” is an essay written by Willa Cather, throughout the essay, there is a statement at the end that stands out than the rest. This statement is “Whatever is felt upon the page without being specifically named there-that it seems to me, is created. It is the inexplicable presence of the thing not named, of the over-tone divided by the ear but not heard by it the verbal mood, the emotional aura of the fact or thing or the deed, that gives high quality to the novel or the drama as well as to poetry itself” (The Novel). There is a type of meaning that makes the reader feel and imagine concepts that weren't written by the writer directly. It can also, be detected by the hidden messages, in between the lines. I am not sure I could express into words how much I have grown and learned throughout this journey of my graduate degree with Capella. I had been wanting to go into this field for over 10 years, but didn’t have the opportunity to until a couple years ago. As soon as the opportunity came up, I dived right into it. Not knowing too much of the whole process of hours and requirements, all I knew was that I loved helping people and had a passion for it. I have been so fortunate to have the support of my family and more importantly my two beautiful girls. It has been a major sacrifice for them being a single parent going back to school. There has been many times that I rather no count that we couldn’t go do certain things because I had a paper to write. At first it didn’t matter to me to attend graduation, but seeing all the hard work that I have put into doing the best I could and the sacrifices they have made I want them to also join in the celebration because I am proud of them too.…

Yet, while I do have hopes to travel outside this country and do some kind of service, all of my traveling has been done around the east coast.
