Fs 6. Ep. 1 reflection

And clearly it is emotional stability that is low for this teacher.
2. I think some teachers are better loved by students than others because of the differences in teaching style and personality possessed by the teacher.
3. If I were to choose, the personal attributes that a teacher should all possess are all of them. To become a good teacher, you should possess all the good qualities of a teacher for you to have a good teaching-learning process inside the classroom.

My philosophy of education encompasses three attributes that play a significant role in becoming an effective educator. The three qualities are as follows: creating an environment that is conducive to different types of learners, maintaining a respectful yet fun classroom setting, and using visual and creative teaching methods to sustain the hunger for knowledge in your classroom setting. There are several qualities that an educator should possess in order to be an outstanding educator; however, one of the most significant qualities that an educator should possess is caring about his/her job. If a teacher does not genuinely care about teaching, his/her ideas and knowledge will never be put into place. The teacher is one of the child's ideal, it is very important for a teacher to have qualities which impress the child and the qualities which he can imitate and thus become good. * The first characteristic necessary in being the ideal teacher is being involved. Teachers will become like second parents to many students in their career, so being involved is crucial. When you think of a teacher, many assume the only thing they can be involved in is standing in front of a classroom and giving homework, this is certainly not the case. For instance, teachers know they may be faced with a student who is having a hard time at home, such as being abused and in many cases have no-one else to turn to. The ideal teacher makes it a point to get involved so that any student feels confident enough that they can talk to their teacher. When I was in school I hit the age that I thought I knew everything and was getting into trouble, I look back now and thank god that I had some outstanding teachers who helped me through.…

From my own personal experience in order to be an outstanding teacher, an individual must possess the following qualities: a genuine passion for teaching, knowledgeable not only in their content area of teaching, but also in various types of learning styles, including knowledge of social and emotional barriers to learning, and they must be creative in their teaching style. If one doesn’t have a genuine passion for teaching, they become a disservice to the youth since they won’t put forth the effort and dedication that is needed to teach up to 6 different class periods a day. A teacher must be able to identify and have positive corrective measures when working with youth with social and emotional behaviors. Professional development in this area is critical to a student’s success in the classroom. Lastly, the proliferation of social media and technology should change the way educators teach, since the average student today is constantly using technology.…
