INTRODUCTION
Oracle is an American multinational computer technology corporation headquartered in Redwood City, California, United States. The company specializes in developing and marketing computer hardware systems and enterprise software products – particularly its own brands of database management systems. Oracle is the second-largest software maker by revenue, after Microsoft.
The company also builds tools for database development and systems of middle-tier software, enterprise resource planning software (ERP), customer relationship management software (CRM) and supply chain management (SCM) software.
Larry Ellison, a co-founder of Oracle, has served as Oracle 's CEO throughout its history. The company had a revenue of $37.18 billion in 2013 and has a workforce of 1,22,830 employees.
This project demonstrates the financial analysis on Oracle Ltd, such as its liquidity position, debt & equity in financing firm’s asset, firms efficiency in utilizing its assets, overall performance measure of the firm. The project also contains the analysis of Oracle performance against one of its competitor.
