FULL VGUARD REPORT
1.INTRODUCTION
Organisational study is done in order to acquire the knowledge of functioning of the company. It shows the different departments in an organisation that work and wins as a single unit. Organizational study is a training that a student undergoes in an organisation gives a dynamic exposure to the management students during the course of the study. This helps to gain realistic and factual knowledge about the functions of the organisations, and offers an opportunity of an acquaintance with the field of study.
Organization is establishing of effective authority, responsibility relationships among selected work, persons, and work places in order for the group to work together efficiently. In modern business organization research has an important role. Research finding helps in various decisions making. This project is an organizational study. It helps a student in gaining practical knowledge in various working process of organization. There is a gap between theoretical knowledge and practical knowledge. This study bridges the gap. The main function of the study is to analyse various activities carried out in each department of the organization.
In 1977, Kochouseph Chittilappilly began a small manufacturing unit for voltage stabilizers with a vision and a capital of Rs 100,000 borrowed from his father. He soon established V-Guard Industries as a household name. V-Guard became the synonym for voltage stabilizers across South India. The company soon extended their range of products to include Pumps & Motors, Electric Water Heaters, Solar Water Heaters, Cables, UPS‟s,
Ceiling Fans, and Induction cooker.
The organization aims to give quality products to discerning customer in order to have an expanding number of loyal clients. every product is introduced with great care in turn with the emerging demand of the customers.
This group is consistently innovating new products to meet the challenges of liberalized economy and competition. The fledging organization has
