A question that many individuals have about GMOs is “Are they safe?”. The answer to this is, yes. The research shows that genetic modification is not harmful for digestion. According to C.S. Prakash in his article called Genetically Modified Crops published in 2016, there have not been any documented cases of harm from GM foods since their introduction in 1994. In the United States the issue of GMOs are less publicized, however in Europe it is the opposite. There has been many efforts to reduce this number. However, GMOs has the great potential to not just reducing this number, but possible even eliminating it. With GMO’s we can create food prospering plants to produce the max possible yield in any conditions. We will not have to provide the food for the starving, now it will be possible to teach these people how to provide for themselves.
Thirty years after the groundwork for genetic engineering was laid, people are still split on whether it is a boon or a danger to society. While supporters point to all of the diseases that can be cured and all of the hungry people who can be fed through the use of genetic engineering, critics caution that too much is still unknown about the technology (“Genetic Engineering.”).
Skepticism never seises, however if effort’s presence lacks, no success will ever deliver. The least this world can do is
