The contemporary piece I would like to discuss from out chapters is Gabriel Orozco, Juego de limones (game of Limes)(2001). I have always had a love for the art form of Photography. The ability to find meaning in everyday life, to capture a moment of emotion or make a person see an everyday sight in a new way is inspiring to me. Gabriel's photo does just that to viewers. He paid close attention the aesthetic value each item holds. He was able to take to rich green from lemons, the dark red from the chess table and the bright whites from surrounding object to create a vibrate photo that makes the viewer see all these objects in a different way.
