Gaining A College Degree
How does earning a college degree help you both personally and professionally? Essentially, “Why are you here?
One of my dreams have been enjoy my future job and have time for my personal life. I want to work designing houses or doing restyling houses, but one of the things that I do not want to happen is that I spend my life working. For me is the same important spend time working on my body as one job. If I get a college degree, I can for at least learn more about how to make my dream come true. Specifically how to build.
Think about the obstacles you may face to get to this point and what you did to overcome them. State at least one of those obstacles:
One of the bigger obstacle for me is that I should speak good English for make a relationship
with my coworkers and my clients if I want to work in El Paso or in another city because it can help me to work anywhere.
Another obstacle is the money, my parents pay my education because they want something better for me, and for my visa I pay the double of another regular student. I hope that they can afford my college, and I would like to work during the school.
Another problem that I have is that I just can work in the school if I want, but I have been trying that so much that I lost the faith.
Now apply the ABC method to one of the obstacles:
A= Actual Event:
I just can work in the school if I want to save some money for pay it.
B= Beliefs:
I have the idea that I just can work until I finish study my degree and I obtain the work visa.
C= Challenge:
It is difficult, but not impossible finish my degree because like I mention before English is not my fist language and I have been working on that 1 year, I do not want it to stop me to obtain my degree.
