Galileo Impact On Society

Galileo contributed to the revival of classical culture and had an impact on modern society. Galileo has a very big impact on society because if it wasn't for him and his discoveries mankind would never have been exposed to the spectrum of ideas which he provided. He proved Aristotle and Ptolemy wrong and followed the Copernican theory, that the planets revolve around the sun. Although he was discouraged by the Catholic Church, he continued pursuing research. Galileo saw farther than the naked eye can and his discoveries made the people look at the world differently.
