Some of the diseases and conditions that might be seen while working as a gastroenterologist include but are not limited to, celiac disease, crohn’s disease, a hiatal hernia and appendicitis. Other problems that might be seen are gallstones, GERD, liver disease, hemorrhoids, anal fissures and whipple’s disease, just to mention a few of them.
