Islam
Islam is the largest religion in Asia with approx. 1 billion adherents. South Asia and Southeast Asia are home of the most populous Muslim countries, with Indonesia, Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh having more than 100 million adherents each. According toU.S. government figures, in 2006 there were 20 million Muslims in China. In the Western Asia, the non-Arab countries of Iran andTurkey are the largest Muslim-majority countries. In South Asia, Afghanistan and Pakistan are the countries with the largest Muslim-majority.

Confucianism
Confucianism was founded in China by the famous philosopher, Kǒng Fūzǐ (more commonly known in English-speaking countries as Confucius. Confucianism is a complex system of moral, social, political, philosophical, and quasi-religious thought that has had tremendous influence on the culture and history of East Asia. Some consider it to be the state religion of East Asian countries because of governmental promotion of Confucian values. Today the Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Vietnamese diaspora has brought Confucianism to the world.
