It is easy to keep emotions within yourself without letting them out because the society may view you as weak and inferior in the same way as women. All of those children wanted to do was fight because there was nothing else to do at that time. My father spent more quality time with me because my sister went to college in Ann Arbor. When I went to school, it was an entirely scenario. I did not act like all of the other kids of the same age group, but I was never bullied to a certain extent. However, as the years progress, I learned how to stand up for myself more.
As far as emotions and communications go, there were no given expectations on how are we supposed to behave in public place as well as at home. But as long as we followed the rules and regulations of society, it does not make a difference. For communication, there were no clear cut guidelines, but we communicated properly. From my perspective, there were no similarities between the two of us, but we express different emotions from anger to sadness.
Other than that, it is crucial that gender socialization affects many people differently because it varies from country to country. My sister and I do many different things, but those ideas did not affect us in any way. However, both of us share some of the same interests.
