facts, that forces people to reevaluate their misguided notions. For instance, before I watched this program, I was told that it was primarily based on black slavery today and the unfair treatment of the Black Lives Matter group. However, what I understood was a worldwide problem for all colors and races that has existed since the 1850’s. This is the problem of citizen’s allowing the government to tell the world who we are and inevitably believing it ourselves. Of course, the focus of this program was on the redesigning of slavery by the government through mass incarceration, with the primary victims being people of black descent, followed by Latinos, and inevitably the poor, but the overall cause of this situation started by all our ancestors’ years ago. We are all victims of sin, deception, and ignorance. All of our ancestors were wrong to establish black people as out of control animals and now, continue the blasphemy by making them all out to be criminals.
In fact, it made me feel that our great country that is supposed to uphold the, “Together, we stand, divided we fall,” is nothing but a rouse. Even John Ehrlichman, from 1968, said, “We could disrupt those communities…arrest their leaders, raid their homes, break up their meetings and vilify them nightly on the news.” Clearly, it has always been the intentions of the government and major corporations to guarantee a week black community to be used for free labor and make the corporate conglomerates money; better known as Prison Industries. This concept blows my mind because we do not have to worry about another country dividing us because we are about to implode on ourselves. Now, there is one vital change that has occurred in the media and that is everyone has a cell phone, which allows for the videoing of the crimes committed against mankind. This will force people to begin conversations about the issues at hand that must be resolved in order to make this a truly greater country than it already is. Please, let us love one another as Christ loves us, with the understanding and acceptance of all God’s beautiful creations. For Christ knew all our lives matter so much, that he
gave His to save them.
