Genius Albert Einstien's Weakness Of Character
Genius Albert Einstien once said,”Weakness of attitude becomes weakness of character.”The quote means that if you don’t have have much attiude then your character will seem dull, boring, troublesome, careless, and etc.For an exapmle, just imagine a person you’ve never met before had a lifeless personality, you wouldn’t want someone like that, you would most likely want someone who does acts of kindness, and is an good example to you.The example relates to the quote because no one would want somone who has weakness of attitude and character because they wouldn’t be really helping you with your personality and they could effect the way your attitude is.

In A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius by Dave Eggers, the audience can see how insecure Dave is about having to take the role of a parent for his little brother, Toph. Throughout the book Dave is constantly thinking about how everyone thinks that Dave shouldn’t be taking care of Christopher or he is an unfit parent. Dave wants to give the very best to Toph but most of the time that isn’t possible. For example, when they were looking for houses people were rejecting them saying the two weren’t the best fit or didn’t think they could pay. One landlord who was sceptical was unsure about Dave’s lack of job and their age. Dave responded “We can pay. We have money. We could pay the year’s rent all at once if you want” (76., which made the…

The British naturalist and politician John Lubbock wrote, “Your character will be what you yourself choose to make it.” I agree with John Lubbock, because I believe we choose our character traits. We make decisions in our lives, some life changing decisions, some small irrelevant decisions, that could change our minds according to how we process our choices. Our personality affects our character heavily, our personality tells one everything about us. Our character is also affected by our ability to perceive things positively or negatively. I believe that we chose our character traits by the decisions that we make, our personality, and our ability to perceive things in a positive or a negative way.…

Although both Chris Langen and Robert Oppenheimer were both geniuses, Oppenheimer had better life chances and more opportunities than did Chris Langan. Oppenheimer was born in a wealthy and well-known family and was in an upper social class. Therefore he had a richer cultural capital than Chris Langan because his parents taught him how to deal with adults and how to assert himself. They also encouraged him to take chances. For instance, when he has an opportunity to be a speaker at the New York Mineralogical Club, he was afraid and did not want to do it, but his father encouraged him to take the challenge. His parents encouraged and help Oppenheimer to prosper and grow and develop his genius. On the other hand, Chris Langan was born into a poor family, therefore in a lower social class than Oppenheimer, and was a college drop out. He had little life chances, only working in low-paying jobs such as construction and a bouncer and night clubs. He had the opportunity to go to Reed College. However, due to some circumstances, his scholarship was revoked and the school cut him off of any financial means for college. This caused him to drop out of Reed and he recieved all F 's on his transcript, even though he had straight A 's at the beginning of the term. When he attended Montant State University, he requested to move from an early class to an afternoon class, due to car problems. He was denied the request because of his poor grades at Reed College.Oppenheimer was also treated differently than Langan. When he tried to poison his tutor, Oppenheimer was left off with probation and had to see a psychiatrist. If Langan was to do the same, he would face much harsher punishments due to his different social class.Langan and his brothers had a very different cultural capital than Oppenheimer did. He and his brothers were taught to hate authority figure, therefore Chris Langan did not know how to interact with adults. He could not even…

Adolf Hitler is another example of how man is evil. For example in Hitler's early stages “Hitler engineered the passage of the enabling act, which gave his cabinet full legislative powers for a period of four years.”(biography.com) With this quote it is seen hitler had used his position of power so his followers can gain entry to aid him in his evil acts to attack the jews and cause terror. Hitler then had, “Military opposition was punished Adolfs political enemies were rounded up and shot.” (biography.com). With this quote it is seen hitler once again used his power to cause more evil terror to kill his enemies just because they did not side with him this is another point on how man is evil just because someone disagreed with him…
