Aim/Purpose of Study
To identify the coastal features along Las Cuevas Bay and assess the relationship between wave processes and the coastal features.

Location of Study
The study area is located at Las Cuevas Bay, North Trinidad. The bay is situated along the north coast of Trinidad. It lies in close proximity to Maracas and Tyrico Bay. This is shown in Maps 1 and 2.

Methodology
How data was collected.
In order to complete the research the following was done:
The bay was divided into 4 points
The length of the study area was measured using a measuring tape
The width of the study area was measured
The slope of the beach was measured with a clinometers
Pictures were taken together with observations identifying the coastal features
The wave height of the study area was measured
The wave frequency of the study area was measured using a stop-watch
When
The study took place on Thursday 15th May, 2014 from 8:30am-2:00pm at the Las Cuevas Bay, North Trinidad. This date and time were more convenient to students. The period in which this study took place is May 2014-September 2014.
Where
Las Cuevas Bay, Another popular beach on Trinidad's north coast which is approximately eight (8) km east of Maracas Bay.
