George Lopez

George Lopez was born on April 23, 1961 in Mission Hills, California. He is an American actor, comedian, and talk show host. At only two months old he was abandoned by his father and later on at 10 years old he was abandoned by his mother. His grandmother, Benita Gutierrez, and step-grandfather, Refugio Gutierrez took care of him. It was not easy for George to do stand up comedy at first. In 1979, he had his first experience as a stand up comic. He was terrified by his first experience and stayed away from it for a few years. He couldn’t keep it off his mind and in the 1980s he started becoming a successful comedian. He was performing stand up comedy in comedy clubs and playing small parts in films.
