In 1744 George Washington was delegated “lieutenant colonel for the mission to Fort Duquesne against the French.” He lucratively invaded the French camp adjoining Jumanville.
“He built a Fort named 'Necessity' on the Ohio River,” to cease the French from trespassing further into the area. However, the poorly assembled and wrongfully placed fort was captured by the French army, “and Washington was asked to surrender.” Therefore it can be said that the conclusion of the mission was not in favor of Washington and his troops. Nevertheless “his role in the expedition was an exhibit of excellent leadership skills and
courage.” “On June 19, 1775, George Washington was commissioned as the general and commander-in-chief of the Continental Army.” In 1783, he willingly resigned from the post. People desired him as a king. However “his dream was of a free, democratic country.” Remarkably he declined the offer to be king. Three tremendous errors he made are: “First he Emphasized ‘rights’ instead of duties. Then he took up arms to abolish the government. Lastly he replaced the government he abolished with a new one.” George Washington died 1799, Mountvermon. He was believed to have had strep throat. Unfortunately at that time in history there were no antibiotics, “and the Germ Theory of Disease was almost a century away. What doctors did was bleed a patient, under the odd theory that the "bad" blood would leave, and the "good" blood would remain. He did not respond to the first bleeding,” So they repeated it over and over. “Eventually he was too weak to go on. He was 67 when he died. His doctors killed him. It would be a century before doctors did more good than harm.” Wow death by doctor’s lack of knowledge. Washington lived a full life. He is well known till this day. That has to say an abundance of things right there. Plus there was an enormous amount of rumors about him. Well, this was his begging of his life, parts of his mid-life, and the very end of it.
