Geto Boys Rebellion Against Injustice
Geto Boys, an inspiring group of rappers, truly rebel against the injustices and inequalities that exit within the environment rap was created in. The rappers get straight into how authority and society purposely set certain individuals up for failure and later blame them for just being “bad” people. The lyrics go on about the reality of marginalized individuals trying to survive in the ghettos. The aggressiveness of this song really gets their point across about how they are fed up with the injustice that exists. These rappers face discrimination every day of their lives and refuse to simply take what is given to them and thus, they rebel against it.

On the other hand, there are still rap musics that is said to be violent and riotous. They say that these kids look up to them as their role model. The truth is, it has existed in the streets before the rap had begun. The judgement toward the violence of rap music is overrated, not even giving too much attention to other forms of violence in cinema and televisions. For instance, the violent scene in Reservoir Dogs movie where it shows a cop is being tortured. Still, some people think it’s an acceptable form of violence that rides the audience’s emotions. In contrast to the rap artist that has a song titled as “cop killer” where he was forced arrest to remove the song from the album.
