I have chosen a Haitian story 'GHOST' written by Edwidge Danticat, it is about a man named Pascal Dorein who lived Bel Air, the Baghdad of Haiti, with his parents and worked as a news writer for Radio Zorey which was one of the country's popular stations. Pascal's parent who are shop owners and restaurateurs and his brother Jule was working as a police but had to leave the country and moved to Canada with his wife because the threats he received from the notorious gang Baz Benin. Pascal was imprisoned and interrogated for the false accusation of directing Tyle, head of Baz Benin for shooting the three-story building and killing the night guard. The false sentence was made by Tyle just to taste the life of a gang member. I have picked this story
