The procedure of vital signs taking becomes smoother.Since the patient is an isolation case, there is another BP machine to measure BP. I did not know how to place the cuff correctly because of indistinct marking of the cuff. I should not depend on the marking but identify which part of the cuff will be inflated and place it on patient’s arm correctly.Since body of the patient is very cold. Cooperation and communication are important. | There is a big time improvement for changing napkin after three-day practice. The procedure of changing napkin becomes smoother. I learn that how to cooperate and communicate with my partner and how to instruct patient to cooperate with us.The first time when I helped patient changing napkin, I cannot identify how to place napkin and place it wrongly. Therefore, I needed patient to move again to replace the napkin correctly. Although it does no harm to the patient, her body is weak. I should familiarize with the design of napkin and minimize disturbance to my patients.Many patients need to wear napkin because of incontinence. When changing napkin, they may not control themselves well and eliminate continuously. A patient put blamed on herself and said that she was useless. I felt so sad at that moment because I think that she did no wrong. Then, I tried to comfort her and let her know we are willing to wait her.
