Girl Stolen Book Report
Title: Girl Stolen Author: April Henry Pages: 213

Characters: Cheyenne Wilder, she is 16 years old, she is sick with pneumonia and she is also blind. Griffin, he is stealing cars for his father’s business. Roy, he is Griffin’s father who owns this business that his son steals cars from stores.
Background: Cheyenne Wilder recently turn blind in a car crash three years ago. In that car crash her mother passed away and she turn blind. Three years later Cheyenne got diagnosed with pneumonia. She is so sick she could die from it. Her stepmom Daniella went into the store to get her stepdaughter’s prescription for antibiotics.
Motivation: Cheyenne gets kidnapped by Griffin who does not see her in the car. Cheyenne would not stop screaming at Griffin to stop her stepmom’s car. Griffin pulled over and told Cheyenne if she does not shut up he would shoot her with a gun. Griffin told her to take off her shoes and take out her shoelaces. Soon Griffin and his father Roy find out that she is the daughter of Nick Wilder who is the president of the Nike shoe brand. Griffin’s father will give Cheyenne back to her father in one piece, if your father will give them 5 million dollars any cannot

Soon they were on the road. She could smell peppermint tobacco, and she could remember that Roy smelled like that. Roy was the false police officer. She felt around the backseat for a phone, but she found a gun instead. She picked it up and told Roy to stop the car. She heard the car pull to a stop, but the car was still running. She shot Roy with the gun, and he opened the door and ran away. She soon heard him fall to the ground with a yell so she still knew he was close. She felt around for the phone, and she dialed 9-1-1.
