The unstated premise of the argument is that if cyber-perpetrators are left unpunished, those who fall victim to cyberbullying will get hurt and potentially harm themselves or others. Our nation as a whole will suffer the consequences of cyberbullying if our government fails to enact laws, and promote more programs in our nation’s schools to protect our children. We need to do more to promote advocacy, education, and awareness from acts of hatred, such as cyberbullying.…

Dutch analyses reported that more children and young people become suicidal because of cyberbullying now than of offline bullying. Alvarez starts off by saying, a girl was driven to suicide, as a 12 year old, as a result of these social media apps; this case was contributed to passing a law against cyberbullying in the state of Florida. She follows up by mentioning, even with restrictions and no acces, kids still find a way to get on these apps. The purpose of our video is to increase awareness about cyberbullying because of its prominence in our communities. The ratio between the bullies and those being bullied is surprisingly even. Nearly half of the teenage populous admit they have cyberbullied at least once, while the other half of the teenage population have revealed that they have been cyberbullied in the past. Combined with the fact that those who have been cyberbullied are 9 times more likely to commit suicide than those who haven’t been cyberbullied, we felt that we needed to alert people to the devastating effects…
