Title of the Project: Automated GizDuino-based Security System Using Smartphones.

A. Question or Problem being addressed
This study aims to answer the following questions:
1. Test the capability of mobile phone for controlling the locking and unlocking of doors with the use of gizDuino.
2. Test the capability of sensors and warning device to alert the people living inside the house.
B. Goals/ Expected Outcomes/ Hypotheses
Based on the problems identified in the study, the following hypotheses were formulated:
Null:
1. Mobile phones are not capable of controlling the locking and unlocking of doors with the use of gizDuino.
2. Sensors and warning devices are not capable of alerting the people living inside the house.
Alternative:
1. Mobile phones are capable of controlling the locking and unlocking of doors with the use of gizDuino.
2. Sensors and warning devices are capable of alerting the people living inside the house.

C. Description in detail of method or procedures. PROCEDURE
Research Design
Building of Diorama of the security system: A wooden door with the size of 12’’ by 8’’ will be built together with the metal lock and the gizDuino boards and materials will be placed programmatically according to its system.
Programming of Codes to the GizDuino Boards: Creating of Codes
Using the software of arduino 1.6.1, generating codes from java-like codes or c++ like codes GSM/GPRS Module Serial Code This code serves as the monitor of destruction of the security. In this board, a SIM card is use to communicate to your device. In case of breaking this system, a censoring device will

One of the most vital aspects of fire protection is to recognize a budding fire emergency as soon as possible, and to notify the facility's tenants and proper emergency groups. This is the primary function of all fire detection and alarm systems. Depending on the expected fire situation, structures and type, quantity and occupants (health care, business, residential, industrial, and day care), and criticality of contents and mission, these systems can offer multiple key functions to aid in the safety of the occupants (Department of Veterans Affairs (Office of Construction & Facilities Management) , 2011). Their first two functions are the most vital. The first being a way to identify a fire hazard as it transpires through either manual or automatic methods. Secondly, it alerts the structures occupants to an imminent fire hazard and the need to withdraw from the building. Another common function in a non single family structure is to send an emergency alarm notification to the local emergency response organizations. Some systems are even designed to sensitive systems to…

Many high occupancy buildings are now constructed with panic hardware. Panic hardware is used to keep a door locked from the outside, but unlocks when someone pushes on it from the inside. Building code also requires to have signs posted to notify occupants of where the exits are in the building. Doors must now swing outwards to aid in proper escape as doors that swing inward will cause obstruction and reduce total escape time. It is now against the law to have any obstructions in the way of a fire escape route.…

With this system in place throughout your building, it will allow your techs to be able to monitor the air condition units, the water flow throughout the building, the fire alarm system, the lighting throughout the building and your employees will be able to have keycards that will allow them to enter into the elevators, different floors and departments and to be able to come in and out of the parking garage, and it will give them access to enter the building as well. This programming will allow you to place a time when the doors and elevator will lock down, and they will have to use their keycard to enter and operate the elevators. The system will also lock down the parking garage, and they will only need their keycard to enter the garage but to exit the garage their vehicle will send a single to the sensor and allow the doors to open up. These sensors will be able to notice body movement when someone is close to the door leaving out of the building. With this system in place, anyone that works in the building will be assigned a keycard with an identification number on it along with their picture. These keycards will allow them access in and out of the building and on the floor of the departments within the building. Clients that you may have coming into the building for meetings will need to sign for a loaner card to be able to get access to the floors of the building. The advantages of having this system within your building is that everything is wireless and that it stores a limited amount of energy that there is no hassle with cable cords, and it can work efficiently under harsh conditions, and the development is up to a large scale. The radio transmission technology optimized for harsh industrial environment and monitoring the software that is designed to match your needs and blend into your IT infrastructure and it also allows your real time monitoring…

One of the most effective ways to protect yourself and your family from a fire is to install smoke detectors in your home. Unfortunately many people don’t take advantage of the protection that smoke alarms provide. Smoke alarms can warn you of a fire when you are asleep, busy or in a different part of the house from where the fire is. Did you know that the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) urges replacing home smoke alarms after 10 years? As leaders in home safety , the NFPA also encourages you to upgrade your smoke alarms to a combination smoke/carbon monoxide alarm for double protection.…
