Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) is a polypropylene film widely used in packaging. Biaxial orientation is a process that involves heating the cast film continuously to bring it to a stretchable temperature, after which the film is stretched in a machine and subsequently drawn in the transverse direction. This process is carried out by tenter and bubble methods. BOPP films are UV resistant and have a smooth surface, good clarity, and excellent chemical and abrasion resistance properties.
