In continuation t o Government Order No. 148-F of 2012, dated 27.04.2012, it is
hereby ordered that the State Government employees, including Work Charged and Whole Time Contingent Paid employees, working in regular pay bands /scale, shall be paid Dearness Allowance as under:-
(i)
The arrears w.e.f July, 2012, t o September, 2012, on account of the enhancement o f 7% DA, shall be paid in cash in the month of October, 2012, and shall form part of the monthly salary there onwards.
(ii) In the case of State Government employees, who are governed by the New Pension Scheme (NPS), 10% o f DA arrears from July, 2012, t o September, 2012, shall be deducted a t source and credited t o their individual PRAN Nos; along with the matching share by the employer, and, thereafter, the enhanced amount of DA shall form part of their monthly salary. (iii) The basic pay for the purpose of this order shall mean the basic pay, as defined in the Note below Article 27(aa) of the J&K Civil Service Regulations. (iv) The payment o f Dearness Allowance, involving a fraction o f 50 paisa and above, shall be rounded t o the next higher rupee and the fraction of less than 50 paisa shall be ignored. (v) The provisions o f this order shall also apply, mutatis-mutandis, t o the All India Services Officers, serving in connection with the affairs o f the State.
