Global Warming
Global warming’s scientific definition is the increase of Earth's average surface temperature due to effect of greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide emissions from burning fossil fuels or from deforestation, which trap heat that would otherwise escape from Earth. This is a type of greenhouse effect. One of the main cause of global warming is the carbon dioxide along with other air pollutions that have been collecting in the atmosphere. Automobiles are commonly knows as the second largest source to pollute the air with about 1.5 billion tons of CO2 in the air. The good thing about today’s technology is that they have made cars to run cleaner and burn much less gas into the streets like it used to. Also, there are many electric cars as well being made and purchased everyday. There are many causes due to global warming. Over the past 50 years, the temperatures have increased the fastest in all time of recorded history. Online the 10 hottest times that were recorded in history were since 1990. Many winter seasons have shortened or not even occurred due to this hot time. The worst part is which country is making up the largest source of global pollution. The United States is. Even though we only make up 4% of the worlds population, we make up 25% of the carbon dioxide that is polluting from fossil fuel burning. We make up the largest percentile of pollution in any country. The only way we can cut any global warming pollution is reducing our vehicle pollutions as well as power plants. We should have future technologies making cars that are cleaner for the environment and modern generators into widespread use. Humans do not cause global warming, but we have been making it worse. The most we can do is try to make our environment eco friendly and help stop the heat!
