Global Warming Satire
Global warming satirical essay

With countless hours of having scientists research global warming it is apparent that global warming is not a problem at all. In fact everybody needs to see the clear fact that global warming is helping humanity in many numerous ways. The environment warming up, the ocean levels rising, and the increase in carbon dioxide are all benefits to the environment, economy, and society in general.

As the world warms up people will not have to heat their house. This is beneficial in numerous aspects. Not only will this save homeowners and businesses money it will also use less natural gas, which can be saved for other things. Also, power plants will not have to produce as much electricity. This will reduce the amount of fossil fuels consumed by power plants, since the majority or power plants burn coal to produce electricity.

With the temperatures on the rise, the icebergs and polar ice caps will be melting. This is but a miraculous thing. For one the coastline will go inland a couple hundred miles. Thus people who have property along the new coast will have an increase in property value, due to their property now being beachfront property. Also fruits that thrive close to the coastline, such as citrus fruits, would flourish close to the new coastline, bringing fruits closer to other places and reducing the cost of shipping the fruits. This would reduce the amount of impoverished countries around the world. Not to mention, with no more icebergs or polar ice caps, naval passage with be much easier. Captains will not have to worry about running into any icebergs, and recreating another titanic experience.

As the carbon dioxide levels in the air increase, plant growth would also show an increase. Since plant growth will be on the rise the price on fruits and vegetables will decrease, also producing enough food to help end world hunger. With plant growth on the rise the plant industry will fully benefit. Everybody’s yard will flourish and look extravagant, relieving the stress of having to worry about how your yard looks, ultimately saving families thousands of money so that they don’t have to maintain their yard.

Global warming should be looked upon as a blessing rather than a burden. It is time for humankind to stop degrading global warming and start praising it. Global warming obviously has more positive outcomes than the negative ones. With property values increasing, plant growth increasing, food prices decreasing, and world hunger diminishing why would anyone complain about global warming? Who wouldn’t want global warming? It’s a magnificent event that we should all be looking forward to. (Especially 3-4 generations down the line. They’ll receive the most outcomes out of it. Lucky them.)

If that happens, we won’t have to heat our houses because global warming will be doing it for us. Not only will it save homeowners and businesses money but we will also be using less natural gas that can be saved for use in other ways. Also, power plants won’t have to produce as much electricity due to the fact that again, we won’t need to heat our house nearly as much as we do now. Let’s take Julie for example.…

Food and water will be much more expensive then it has ever been before, and many people won’t be able to afford it. Society will be forced to live a lifestyle of discomfort because they will be forced to move from the danger that may strain their health. This is where poverty comes in as a vast social issue seen in many countries. Even pope Francis agrees that the poor will be the most affected by climate change. Consequently the extreme temperature changes caused by climate change will have no mercy on disadvantaged groups living on the streets with no resources for protection. With a lack of protection, many people could die of sickness caused by solar rays or in floods with no…

Global warming has always been a problem for humans. In the past 650,000 years, According to NASA, Earth’s average temperature has risen 1.7 degrees fahrenheit since 1880 (Global Climate Change). In fact, January of 2017 has been the third warmest ever recorded. To ‘normal’ people it sounds like all these scientists and researchers are making a fuss about something so trivial. But is global warming really a trivial matter or, are the people unconscious about the danger of global warming. If you are conscious about it, you will see that the world is changing slowly due to global warming. Ice is melting worldwide, animals have moved to higher and cooler places, precipitation has increased and an increase of insects. But if global warming continues like this, it can become a disaster. There are possibilities that parts of the world will go under water, because the sea level rises. Floods and drought will occur more often, less fresh water will be available, due to the melting of the ice caps. Not only that, but animal species will be extinct, like the polar bear. Researcher Bill Fraser showed that the numbers of Adélie penguins on…

Many consider global warming to be the largest threat facing the people of Earth, while others view it as nothing more than Liberal propaganda. Both sides have extremely well thought out arguments. According to Environmentalist there is a growing realization that human activities are threatening the health of the natural systems that make life possible on this planet. While Non-believers claim that you can't find a real scientist anywhere in the world who can look you in the eye, without hesitation, and say "yes, global warming is real." Many scientists believe that Global warming will have a massive effect on the climate and weather on our planet. This could happen one of two ways. The first is that an increase in temperature will cause polar ice caps to melt. If the Earth 's major ice caps were to melt, sea level would be raised anywhere from 7-14 meters (Ramanathan, 4). This would result in severe flooding. For example, the entire bottom section of Florida would disappear completely. A second way Global Warming could turn is that a temperature increase will cause evaporation and clouding, which would lower the earth 's temperature and eventually result in an ice age(Ramanathan, 5). If either of these scenarios were to occur, the repercussions would be tragic to the entire planet and everything living on it.…
