Abstract
The health impacts of globalisation: a conceptual framework This paper describes a conceptual framework for the health implications of the globalisation process in the following three steps: 1) defining the concept of population health and identifying its main determinants; 2) defining the concept of globalisation and identifying its main features; and 3) constructing the conceptual model of globalisation and population health. The main health determinants are identified and structured by means of a conceptual model, which is based on an analysis of existing health models.
