Globalization
People may have strong feelings on whether globalization is good or bad. There are pros and cons to each side of this debate. There have been impassioned arguments on the positives and negatives of globalization. This paper will identify the pros that globalization has brought to many countries economically and socially and show how globalization is good. Globalization is beneficial and brings prosperity to countries which in turn makes it good.
Globalization can bring economic benefits to countries that are the poorest in the world. (1, Premise) For example, globalization enables countries to support their citizens by providing job opportunities and bringing economic development to those who have struggled to find employment in the past due to no job market. (1, Conclusion) Therefore globalization brings economic development to societies, which brings more job opportunities and their citizens will be able to reap the rewards. Globalization has allowed businesses that were not operating in countries to bring their business to developed countries (2 Premise) because globalization allows organizations to outsource their jobs to areas where labor cost are less. (2 Conclusion) Consequently globalization can convey unlimited benefits to countries that are struggling to survive economically.
Another positive that globalization has brought to countries is social togetherness (3, Premise) because of social media through worldwide networks. (3, Conclusion) As a result this has given citizens the opportunity to experience different ideas and thoughts brought about by other cultures which has enabled them to open their minds to new ideas. This can be beneficial to many people who are trying to better their thought process through knowledge of different cultures and values.
