Introduction to GYG
GYG is a voluntary youth-led organization founded in April 17, 2012 by a group of young people to bring about enduring positive social change.
It is under the process of legal registration with CSO Authority as public-benefit organization.
Today, GYG has over 300 registered members (students, out-of-school youth, in-service people, and foreigners).
GyG has three Networks (Thimphu, Paro, Kanglung).

“To inspire youth to take ownership of their community through youth-based volunteerism and channelling their potential into socially meaningful actions.”
Objectives
To bring youth together and engage them productively to address social issues
To promote active citizenship and volunteerism amongst youth
To provide opportunities that support and recognise voices of youth in the affairs of their community
To enhance leadership qualities, decision making and entrepreneurship skills among youth:
