Goal Setting Worksheet
Review this week’s resources (for example SMART criteria, and the Career Plan Building Activities). Respond to the following in 50 to 100 words each:
Describe one academic goal that you have created using the SMART criteria. How do SMART criteria contribute to your academic goals? I have created a goal that says to see what a psychiatrist does. I want to know what it entitles and what they do on a daily basis. Career plan builder helped to show multiple options other than being a full on psychiatrist. Being a psychiatrist is very important but if in life I cannot continue in school after a few degrees I know my options when the ones I will have.
Describe one professional/career goal you have created using the SMART criteria and Career Plan Building Activities results. How did the results of the Career Interest Profiler and Career Plan Building Activity on Competencies contribute to your professional goal development?
Being a psychiatrist is my main career goal. The result where very on point they were in the area of what I wanted to do. I love to help people out I love seeing them going from this sick person to this person that is better and knows they are better.
