Before coming to Lehigh many alumni tell students to relax and have fun in college when thinking of their pasts of “raising hell.” In particular, Richard Horn 82’ spoke of the night he and his friends trespassed into Taylor Stadium at 2am to play glow Frisbee. He reminisced about when the police showed up, “my friends stupidly attempted to hide from the police but ended up making too much noise in the process.” Though there was no legal action that night, there are students today who take part in the crazy party scene and end up with citations. It references, “When the sun goes down and the moon comes up, Lehigh will shine.” Numerous people believe at one time Lehigh must have held sporting events at night, however no one seems to know for sure where this song originated. In present day, cheerleader Dominique Voitek 20’ considers the song to mean, “Lehigh will always win at the end of the day no matter what.” Consequently, everyone sings at each tailgate with the hope that Lehigh does in fact shine into the night with a win. Yet, even if they fail to win which happened three times this past season everyone is still proud at the end of the game and into the
