God exist
Who is God?
A startling question that most people will answer yes to is: Does God exist? Websters
Dictionary (Webster's p. 412) defines God as the supreme being, seen as the omnipotent creator and ruler of the universe. Whereas a theologist describes him as God is the infinite and perfect spirit in whom all things have their source, support, and end. (Thiessen p. 55)
Whatever the case the statistics from Multipoll CGI on the internet show that 86 percent believe that God exists. Probably half or more of that actually attend a church or seek after God. Upon further investigation there are actually many reasons to believe in God.
From the beginning man has always had intuition or a feeling of already knowing certain things. "The law has been written on the hearts of all so that they may recognize a greater power that is God," says Pastor Chan of Cornerstone Community Church. "God has given everyone the intuition of knowing his presence, and the feeling of right and wrong or moral law."

God is defined as the creator and ruler of the universe. There is no evidence that says God does exist and that God does not exist but us humans. We each have our own view points about God. Those who do believe in God and those who don't or are just not sure, who are called atheists and agnostics. There is always one question which arises, which does Does God exist?

Atheists don't believe in God because of a lack of evidence. They think that there is no evidence that proves the existence of God or that there is no real reliable evidence. Atheists argue that someone should only believe in something if there is hard proof for it. However believers would claim that miracles are hard proof. Miracles are defined as a supernatural event that is considered the work of God. In Christianity Jesus gave sight to the blind which is a miracle and done by God, so God must exist.

It is in the book of Acts that we find details about how the gifts are bestowed to believers. Acts 2:38 says, “And Peter said to them, ‘Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.’” This couldn’t be any clearer. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are given to those who repent of their sins and are baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. It is at that point that the Holy Spirit indwelt the believers at the time of the early church. Acts 1:8 says, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses” This also makes it clear that the gifts are given through the Holy Spirit and not by any other means.…

I found William Paley’s design argument in The Watch and the Watch-Maker the most compelling and thought provoking because I thought he had an interesting point symbolizing the watch as the universe and the watch-maker as the universe-maker or God. Paley doesn’t give a scientific explanation, but instead bases his work on observation and logical thinking unlike Robin Collins’s argument in his work, A Scientific Argument for the Existence of God, which is supported by quantum physics etc. Paley comes up with eight main points that supports his view on the existence of God. Some of his points, however, are repetitive and is based on speculations rather than clear evidence. His ideas are based on the concept that the complexity of a watch should be made by a supernatural being since nature cannot make intricate designs on its own. As much as I find Paley’s design argument the most compelling, I do not share the same view as him regarding the existence of God because I believe that there isn’t enough scientific support for his argument. I do, however, agree with one of his statement “that its several parts are framed and put together for a purpose--that they are so formed and adjusted…” (63-64) There really are certain things in the world that seems unnaturally adjusted and formed such as the golden ratios in nature and the fibonacci sequence which is a mathematical pattern found in nature.…
