Going To Adelanto High School

When deciding on a new school you have to look at every aspect of it. What benefits would I get from going there? Is this school right for me? These are all questions you need to ask yourself before, you make your final decision. In this case, the school that I will be writing about is Adelanto high school. From going to Adelanto what effects will it have in the long run when applying for a college? Well, for one Adelanto has more Academics then excelsior because, at excelsior they don't have any sports, not many electives, or even clubs. So going to Adelanto and getting into more school activities and sports I will have a better chance to get a scholarship or even get accepted in to the colleges that I want to go to because that's something colleges will look at when I turn in my college
You have to be realistic about it and not only think about the good of it but also what's the downfall that could possibly happen. One of the downsides is that it will be a bigger school with more people. With more people can come with more drama or even you could fall in to the wrong crowd. There would be a chance of getting in to trouble such as fights or even drugs. If you stay focus and keep your eye on the goal you most likely won't, it's just possibility of what could happen. It's a risk you just have to take and trust in yourself that you won't fall behind. Another downside would be leaving everyone you know and starting over. You would be leaving all your friends and having to go through the " new kid phase" where you are alone and don't know anyone. You'd have to reintroduce yourself again and try to make friends. At Adelanto you will have longer days from 8:10 - 2:52 unlike at excelsior where it's only 8:30 to 12:30 depending on your classes sometimes you will have shorter days. It's something you'll have to get use to but nothing to
