Someone beloved daughter and a sibling had died because of the lack of treatment. It was satisfying that Goldstein admit that he did kill Webdale and plead

After a short and brief anchor introduction WGN’s, Erik Runge, tells his story on the upcoming bad allergy season through a donut live shot. In his introduction live shot, Runge stumbles a bit, but then quickly recovers from it by restating the word and pretending like it never happened. Runge’s b-roll video that was shot in the same perimeter just through different angles around the same lake area in Lincoln Park was lacking and did not compliment the story well at all. Some close up b-roll on growing plants was more effective than the other videos because it represented pollen, a main cause of allergies. Runge also only followed around one allergy victim who did not have many powerful things to say beyond the obvious negative comments on…

When building many of the castles in the 1300-1400’s the main purpose was to keep the enemies out and of course for conquest. In the video I watched, the Forbidden Knowledge video, they called out some very key point of why and how these fortresses and castles where erected and defended. Not only where there kings of the lands, but then each of those lands were divided up to noble kin and lords. They were always trying to better there futures with more land, even if that included killing your own cousin to get his piece of land. One great example of an intuitive fortress, Caesar had made a donut shaped fortress at one point around a small town; he shut out and was starving the people in the town and then also keeping out the men that were…

In the Dr. Rinker video I have learned that religion can be a part of problems that the united States is facing today, in an event such as a domestic terrorist attack; if it wasn't for religion none of them would happen. The second thing I have learned from the video is that Islam is not a true religion because of terrorist conduct their operations in the name of Islam, and murder thousand of innocent people in the name of religion.…

Yes, I think that it makes you think about what is going on around you. You think about so many children that are taken by the state and put in homes are abused. These places are supposed to be safe for children and give them a better life then they had, instead it kills them. More measures need to be taken to make sure they are safe and the people that are responsible for their lives are doing their job properly so that this never happens again. This is a sad editorial but it needs to be put out there, he should never be forgotten because the things that happened he should have never had to go through. There were 103 recommendations made at his inquest and they need to be looked at and taken into consideration for the future children that are put in care, and currently those who reside within it.…

Back then New York was like 2 New York’s divided where one half was wealthy while the other was poor and heavily drug infested. Young black kids back then were considered the most endangered species in America. As mentioned before, these young black kids were seen as easy targets that authority figures could easily lock up due to their incapability to pay for services that could possibly get them released. Raymond, Korey, Kevin, Antron, and Yusef were literally kids who were handled poorly by authority figures that we depend on and put all our trust in everyday. Most of us tend to see America as a country of fairness and justice when in reality it all tends to depend on who you are, how much money you have, and what skin color you have. As mentioned in the documentary, these 5 minority boys were falsely accused of raping and almost killing a white victim. It is crazy to think that all 5 of these boys were below the age of 18 and were treated worst then animals. This documentary is a perfect example of what the new Jim Crow looks like. These young minority boys were targeted; were forced to confess; were tortured for long hours; were yelled at; were tricked; were deprived of food and water; and were later released with criminal records like no mistake had ever been made at all. While all of this is happening not one authority figure throughout the documentary stops to realize that they were dealing with just young boys. Whether they committed the act or not they were just young boys. As Raymond mentioned in the documentary, “I was just 14 and scared to death, I never had handcuffs before.” No one deserves the kind of treatment they received not to mention that these authority figures collectively broke rules, later celebrated…

    Brubaker Movie Analysis

“Brubaker” was a very interesting film that showed how hard it is to make prison reforms. The new warden, Henry Brubaker, initially enters the prison as an inmate so that he can have a real look at the corruption and ill of the jail. What he witnesses as a prisoner in the Arkansas jail is horrendous. He witnesses an inmate raping another inmate in the dormitory in front of everyone else, abuse and beating of prisoners, and inhumane and unsanitary conditions. There is also a lot of corruption from the prisoners up to the current warden. Food is being taken out of the prison and sold and the prisoners are left to eat scraps. In the movie it shows prisoners cleaning rabbits to eat, and people bidding for certain foods with cash. Brubaker…

In regards to the "eight forces" outlined in the Family Systems Theory, I think all eight forces are well seen in the video "Bowenian Family therapy". Regarding "differentiation of self", Pam has very low self differentiation from her parents. Differentiation of self is the separation of a person's intellectual and emotional functioning from another person and can be seen in how a person's behavior is motivated by their own feelings (Goldenberg, Stanton & Goldenberg 2017). Pam does not have a separation of self from her parents. Her emotions and thoughts are driven by the mere presence of her parents let alone the impact of what they say or do regarding her. I think this was seen in the video by how Pam reacts when her parents get upset,…

    An American Crime

The movie An American Crime was a very heartbreaking yet eye opening film. It is based on a true story, a very sad story, and a very horrific case of child abuse. The story of the events that led up to Likens' death is short and tragic, with many people to fault, including her own parents and sister. Her parents negligently entrusted her and her little sister's care to a woman they had only met once. This woman, Gertrude Baniszewski, was mother to many children and accepted Sylvia and her sister into her home for the simple fact that she needed the money the Likens were offering. However Baniszewski wasn’t fit to care of any of the children period and within a few months, Sylvia had become the victim of Gertrude's escalating abuse. Sylvia eventually became a prisoner in Baniszewski's basement for an excruciating 27 days, where she was abused and tortured by Baniszewski, and her children also including a number of other neighborhood children. How could this have happened? How could so many people be involved in such a horrible crime? This is what I though after seeing that disturbing yet eye opening movie. After Sylvia died as a result of her beatings, Baniszewski's was found guilty of her crimes and sentenced to life in prison with the chance of parole. Her children and the others involved were also found guilty and sentenced, each one eventually serving two years in prison. While Baniszewski's crimes are unforgivable, the thing I personally found most disturbing was how her example led to her children's and the other children's acts of cold, and cruel behavior towards an innocent teenager.…

He told on himself out after he pretty much got away with the murder. He told on himself because he thought they could hear the man's heartbeat like he claims he can. This is called shallow affect and impulsivity. He almost got away with it after using a lot of confidence. Having a lot of confidence is thinking you're superior to everyone and that he thought he knew what he was doing. Then he ruined it by claiming he was already caught because he thought he could hear the man's heartbeat and claiming so could they.…
