Degree Programs
Admissions decisions are based upon related professional and educational experience, test scores and academic and personal skills demonstrating ability to undertake a performance-based education. Certificate Programs
(CASAC, etc.)
Complete this application and submit it with payment of the $30 application fee. Certificate programs are not supplemented by the College’s financial assistance programs.
Application Deadlines
You may apply to MCNY at any time. The College accepts students on a rolling basis for the three terms per year. Semesters begin as follows:
Fall: immediately following Labor Day; Spring: the first week of January;
Summer: late April/early May
Deadlines for Early Decision/Scholarship Preference
Fall: April 30; Spring: September 30; Summer: March 5
Required Documents for Graduate Degree Programs
• A completed, signed Application Form
• Official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended
• 2 Recommendation Forms
• Non-refundable application fee of $45 check or money order, made payable to
Metropolitan College of New York
• Official Test Scores of the GRE, LSAT, or LAST (see page 2 for program-specific requirements) MCNY School Code: 2157
• TOEFL official test scores (if required)
• Letter of Agreement/Supervisor’s form (MPA only)
Essays:
• Essay for the MBA programs: 300-500 word essay describing the business venture the student will develop and work on during the three semesters of the MBA program.*
• Essay for the MS program: 300-500 word essay related to the research topic the student will pursue during the three semesters of the MS program. Essay for the MS program to be written at the College.
• Essay for the MPA programs: 300-500
