In 2013 Oprah Winfrey said this quote at Harvard
"It doesn't matter how far you might rise. At some point you are bound to stumble. ... If you're constantly pushing yourself higher ... the law of averages, not to mention the Myth of Icarus, predicts that you will at some point fall. And when you do I want you to know this, remember this: There is no such thing as failure.
Failure is just life trying to move us in another direction."Yeah I believe that when you're in a good position something you did previously could jeopardize that position or put you in a position where you will have less success then before.
I think president Obama said it best when he said,
“Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.”. We’re the ones who can make something of our future. You can’t depend on anyone but yourself. Depending on someone can cost you your chance to make something out of yourself. This one time I depended on someone to hold a paper that I left in my last period class, they were staying after school for help on homework, they said they would get it for me and ended up not bringing it
because they forgot it in the class they were studying in. So I learned to keep track of my stuff and not leave my papers that are due the next day in a class. So take the risk and make something out of your chance to be something greater.
