The film was still on the entertainment side and not a documentary because it focused more on the message it wanted its viewers to dissect, rather than ensuring that all the details of the real incident were present. If I had to come up with my own conclusion as to why the film missed out on certain details of the Pentagon Paper’s publishing, maybe it was because the filmmakers were afraid that the title ‘documentary’ might be rather dreary to some. Perhaps they wanted people to think it was still on the entertainment side to gain revenue or viewership. I, although, cannot tell you the truth behind their decision and why they changed certain locations or missed certain people. I can, however, tell you that the message was still there. The audience gasped, laughed, and cried with the journalists as they saw their journey. The emotions that were conveyed in the film, all the frustrations, anxiousness, and excitement was real, as the journalists went with their gut and showed us the true meaning of
