Green Angel This past March I read an amazing book entitled Green Angel. The author of Green Angel is Alice Hoffman. She is a really good writer by the way. This is a fictional novel. The genre is a mixture of adventure, romance and drama. I started reading this book in the beginning of March and finished it on March 23rd. This book was trully an amazing novel. So you as the reader may have a feel of what the book is about, I will now give you a small summary. It started like this, a family was leaving and the youngest of the two daughters insisted of staying but her mother didn't allow her. On the way to their trip they faced a horrible accident and all burned, but the daughter, Green, ran and saved herself. Form that day on she was haunted, not by ghosts but by memories and loss. She struggled to survive. She tries taking her life several times but failed all the times she tried. Emotionally she was destroyed. Before this terrible accident she was a happy, loving, great girl. Now she is a dark, quiet, lonesome soul. She dreese in black as to before, she was a rainbow. A new boy came to town and learned about her past. He proposes himself to bring back that one girl that existed before. At first he had trouble even getting noticed by Green. Then when she finally noticed him, he tried to make her laugh. That way she could laugh after years of not even smiling. She went back to the girl she was before and they lived happily ever after. One interesting idea that I learned from this novel is that you can't ever spend enough or too much time with anyone. You're supposed to live your life surrounded with people that can make your life fun and interesting. You are not always going to be with that person, so enjoy as much possible with that person. Never be mad at that person for that time is being lost for a simple error someone made. The book also thought me new vocabulary. Three of the many words I learned were

I read the book what Happened to Cass McBride. It was a very good book that keeps you on your toes. What I liked most about it though was that you would never expect what happens in the end of the story. I also like that the main character who stayed strong through the whole book and it teaches people who read this, that just when you think it’s over, it’s really not. This is one of my favorite books that I have read.…

When I read this book I thought that it was boring, it turns out that is one of the most incredible books that I have ever read. Sadly to me, the book has quite an expected end, but the story still amazing and worthy of your time and attention. I learned from this book that no matter of what kind of struggle you’re going to, but you have to keep moving forward and keep fighting for your dreams.…

I feel like I have been doing a very good job meeting, creating, and keeping friends. I think that may have to do with the fact that my husband is in the military and I have to meet new friends all the time (although, now I have friends all over the country, and they are absolutely amazing)! I do think that the book had some great points, though, one being about self-worth and identity. It is hard sometimes keeping up with all of the lifestyle changes in life, so that part of the book gave me some relief. Identity is not written in stone!…

I enjoyed this book thoroughly and always kept me intrigued until the end. It had small twists in it that were rather easy to interpret but it was also very interesting. Imagine being thrust into the middle of a raging battle, a battle that lasts for 3 long days. The book Killer Angels by Michael Shaara does just that, introducing the reader to the Battle of Gettysburg in detail. Killer Angels elaborates upon the 5 days surrounding the Battle of Gettysburg in the Civil War, using key points of view from both Confederate and Union sides toshow the reader the brutal nature of war. Michael Shaara also uses this book to show how someof the generals were good friends before the war, and that this war helped to create breaches inthose friendships. The last thing I took away from this book is that you have to accept that bad things will happen on a daily bases that you can’t control. Just like Colton getting sick in the book, things happen. Move on, God has a plan for us all. You can’t waste your time thinking about the all the negative because you will never see any positives. You can’t reach that goal of being happy with your life if you only see the bad things…

One important lesson is there are consequences to every action, positive and negative. An example of this lesson in the book is that all of the characters had peccant backgrounds, they each did something unlawful, for instance, murdering someone. Their wrong actions came back and they all got killed as a consequence.Another good lesson from this book is that justice will eventually be served. It may take a long time but justice will come through. It was not right that Justice Wargrave lynched all of those people, however, justice was created when Mr.Wargrave killed himself. Justice was achieved because Mr.Wargrave was no longer murdering people. I believe that this is one of the most important lessons in this book.…

Furthermore, we can also relate the theme of the story to each of us. The novel was an epic adventure of a human being’s nature and emotions. I can say that it is natural for us to feel angry to those who had wronged us. When we hold grudge to someone, we are compelled to take revenge in order to satisfy our feelings of anger. In fact, this kind of emotional adventure has already happened to me once then and I learned so much out from that experience. Surely, it had also happened to someone else on this planet and many lives are torn apart just because of the selfishness and pride of some people.…
