Go into the kitchen and grab two medium size pots. One will be for the green tomatoes and your jalapenos, the other one will be for the chicken breast. You will put the green tomatoes, but make sure you take the leaves off and rinse the green tomatoes, jalapenos, 1 garlic, and half water so it will be able to boil. You will need to wait until the tomatoes and the jalapenos are soften. Once you are done doing that, you can proceed with the chicken breast. When that is cooking, your tomatoes and jalapenos should already be soft. You will need to drain the water out and throw everything into the blender and add some water. Once it’s blended, you grab the same pot you boiled the items in, and just put the sauce in there again. Your sauce is now ready!
While you are still waiting for the chicken to cook, start to cut your lettuce in strips and put it on the side. Grab your avocadoes and cut them into slices. Start to grab the Mexican cheese, the lettuce you cut into a bowl, your Mexican cream, and your cut avocadoes. Place them on the kitchen table, so it can be easy grab! Once everything is lined up, we get our tortillas we made earlier and fry them. We have to be careful not to over fry them, but a little crispy is preferred. We usually deep fry about six at a time, take them out and drain them on a napkin, to get the access oil off. We then put them on a plate and began to assemble them in the following order. To our tortillas, we add a pinch of beans, a pinch of chorizo and potato, chesse, sprinkle cabbage and drizzle the spicy tomato sauce over everything. Once we have completed this with all six of our enchiladas and added a piece of chicken,…

The menu is inviting as it pops with color and shows pictures of many of its offerings, making it easy for people who like to have a visual when choosing something to eat. I have tried many things on the menu and two of my most favorite are the steak fajitas and the charbroiled chicken burrito. The fajitas come to the table sizzling on a skillet with a side of refried beans and rice. The vegetables included with the fajitas are grilled zucchini, grilled red peppers, grilled yellow peppers, grilled mushrooms, and grilled onions. These vegetables with steak and tortillas make for a mouthwatering burst of flavors that are perfect. The charbroiled chicken burrito is a fulfilling tortilla that is stuffed with lots of cheese and tender chicken that makes every bite better than the…

For my second cultural activities, i went to eat at a Mexican restaurant called El loro that is located in crystal. They had a lot of options but I decided to try enchiladas de mole which are traditionally made mostly in Mexico. enchilada has been the most popular Mexican dishes for a long time. Even though enchiladas were first introduced 19 centuries they became popular in the 20 the century. Some people have traced back the origin of enchiladas to pre-Columbian culture particularly to the Aztecs. However, this is only partially true because the Aztecs had chili peppers, sauces, and tortillas but there is no evidence suggest that they made anything similar to what Mexicans call enchiladas. Plus, many ingredients that are used to make enchiladas…
