World is experiencing various changes today. One of the threatening changes to the existence of man is global warming. This has made the man to counter this deadly change and come up with the long lasting strategies in sustaining the livelihood of many citizens of the world especially the United States of America. One of these strategies is to create a green economy focusing on the environmental sustainability and reducing the climatic changes effect. According to report published by the Political Economy Research Institute of Massachusetts University; green economy is meant to create labor, which is aimed to maintain a clean and safe environment and the jobs associated with this endeavor are referred to as green jobs. There exist a great potential for the green industry to create jobs for millions of Americans to fight global warming and construct a green economy.
Green economy will be run on green industry where every norm to sustain the balance of environment is taken care of. It is estimated that millions of workers may be absorbed by the green industry as every state is bound to benefit and people from different income and skills levels will earn a living from this multibillion dollar industry. A green industry is build on efficiency as it may work on the basis of efficient use of energy, reducing pollution and use of renewable sources of energy . This is aimed at reducing the emission of dangerous gases and in the long run ensuring a clean environment. This way, it would be beneficial for both ways as green industry would help to fight global warming and it would also help to reduce unemployment rates and lower the poverty levels.
