I believe that with our rapid growing society and technologies we should start becoming more and more involved with making our planet and our life’s cleaner before it is too late to do anything about it. It is our responsibilities to make sure that we do whatever it takes to reduce the pollution because it not only affects us our animals as well. Most people will ask what green technology is. Well green technology is technologies that benefit or help the environment and possibly the human condition. Green Technology can help the environment and also help our wallets by saving us on energy cost. The most effective way most people know to save money is to by products or appliances that are made to save energy. I also believe that if we all would drive hybrid cars it would help enormously with our pollution in the air and on our lands and water systems. If every one would drive hybrids and electric cars we would not have problems like the one we are having now in the Gulf of Mexico. Another significant way to save money is solar energy, and wind energy. Solar energy is solar panels converting our sun rays into electricity by photovoltaic cells. The solar panels are intended to reduce both air pollution and CO2 emissions. Many people have found this new energy saver very useful so many of them have put them to work in their houses and their businesses. I think that this is a very good technology to have around the house because with our economy on the hinge. Greenhouses like these in the Westland municipality of the Netherlands grow vegetables, fruits and flowers. Many people will ask well what happens when the sun goes down and we can not turn the suns rays into electricity, well they have found ways to store the energy into heat for times when there is no sun or not enough to produce

Environmental technologies, such as renewable energies, recycling technologies, technologies for sustainable transport, etc. are increasingly seen as the drivers of future economic growth, while at the same time preserving natural resources and mitigating emissions. This is captured in the OECD’s Green Growth Strategy, which states: “Green growth means fostering economic growth and development while ensuring that natural assets continue to provide the resources and environmental services on which our well-being relies” (OECD 2011). While earlier definitions referred to the growth of specific eco-industries (Jänicke 2011), this new definition calls for a mainstreaming of green growth into “core economic strategies” in acknowledgement of the risks of continued environmental degradation for sustained economic growth.…

Energy is an important factor in todays society, it is neccesary to power business, manufacturing and the transportation of goods and services all around the world. Solar powered energy is energy from the sun. This energy can be conerted into different energy like heat and electricity. Heat can be used to heat water or heat spaces, for example heating for houses, buildings or even swimming pools. Solar energy can be converted in two ways, by Photovoltaic or “solar cells” which change sunlight directly into electricity or by concentrating solar power plants which generate electricity by using heat from solar thermal collectors. Coal powered energy has played an important role in the advancement of civilization and will continue to be a major fuel source for at least the next quarter century. It is used primarly to produce electricty and heat through a dirty process which involves mining and combustion of the fuel. The two most common types of coal mining used today are surface mining and underground mining. In the long run, solar energy has greater potential than coal powered energy.…

What is Solar Energy? Solar Energy is radiant energy emitted by the sun that has been harnessed by humans to use for power. The first solar power station was set up around 1913 in Egypt by an American engineer Franc Shuman. His model was simply a predecessor to those of which are in use today that convert Sun’s rays directly into power. Solar panel’s works by using the photovoltaic effect, the photovoltaic effect involves a creation of voltage or electric current with the absorption of light.…

transformed into electricity, it is called photovoltaic energy. This is a simple way to get electricity. Photovoltaic panels can be put on the roof of a house to provide electricity or can be used in remote places where there is not electricity from other sources. Solar energy also powers cars without the use of gasoline which is made from the fossil fuel oil.…

As the telecommunications industry faced a huge development in the last couple of decade, the demand for bandwidth has extremely grown up. The bandwidth demand pushed and stimulated a need for protocols that would increase the bandwidth efficiency. The multiple accesses combine many signals to one single communications channel. Basically, there are three types of division-based protocols which are: FDMA, TDMA and CDMA. Frequency Division Multiple Access (FDMA) – is a frequency based multiple access where the channel is the frequency. In other words, the signals in FDMA are assigned frequency channels. Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) – divides the frequency channels into slots, so that two or more users are able to use the same frequency band. In this case, each user is assigned different time slot. Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) – in CDMA the users are assigned different random binary sequence codes which modulates the carrier by spreading the spectrum of the waveform and assigning users with unique code…

Green Innovations refers to the advance technology supporting business critical computing needs with least possible amount of power or sustainable computing. This represents a dramatic change in priority in IT industry. It came from ever growing business computing needs, fast growing burden of energy cost, growing awareness of global warming issues, and increasing sense of national energy security. Energy is an increasingly scarce and expensive resource. This reality will continue to have a profound effect on how IT solutions are designed, deployed, and used. Most eco-innovations in the IT sector have focused on technological advances in the form of product and process modification or redesign. Rapid economic growth in country and the increasing transboundary movement of secondary resources will increasingly require both 3R endeavors (reduce, reuse, recycle)…

Green technology refers to the application of knowledge for practical purposes. The field of green technology encompasses a continuously evolving group of methods and materials, from techniques for generating energy to non-toxic cleaning products (http://www.green-technology.org/what.htm ). Some popular examples of green technology are: energy, green building, wind energy, ocean energy, solar power and hydro power. Most of these examples are for renewable energy. “Renewable energy is defined as: to generate electricity, heat, or fuel for use the establishment form” (http://www.bls.gov/respondents/gtp/examples.htm). Although the impacts are small, some renewable energy technologies have an impact on the environment.…

What is green technology? “Green Technology is the development and application of products, equipment and systems used to conserve the natural environment and resources, which minimizes and reduces the negative impact of human activities.” (kettha.gov/.my/en/content/defintion-greentechnology) Green technology is extremely important for the planet and us, as human beings. Green technology has given people the opportunity overcome the reaping of natural resources and to build up the environment that the human race is consistently tearing down and damaging. Everything has a cause and reaction. Because the human race is exhausting the natural resources that the earth is providing, we are becoming reliant on something that is not going to last forever. Green technology gives the opinion to find alternatives that will be more environmentally sound and will improve life itself. Within this paper, I will cover green technologies history, what green technology is doing during the present day and what is to come in green technology and what you can do to make an impact.…
