Making a grilled cheese sandwich is a simple process and I will take you through it step by step.
Making a grilled cheese sandwich is not difficult, the first thing you will need to do is gather the following items. You will need bread, you can use any type of bread you want as long as it is sliced, because it will need to lay flat in a skillet. Next you will need cheese, there are so many different kinds, all having different flavors and melting qualities, and you can even combine different types for unique flavors. Other items you will need are a stove, skillet with lid, spatula, and cooking oil or butter. Once you have everything, the next thing you will do is place your skillet on the stove burner and warm it using a medium heat. You want the skillet to get nice and hot, but not so hot it burns or smokes. Once the skillet is heated, you will add your butter or oil, put in just enough to cover the cooking surface, a spoonful of oil or a pat of butter will do. If you prefer, a non stick skillet such as a ceramic coated can be used without adding oil or butter.
Your next step will be to make your sandwich by placing the cheese between two slices of bread. You will need to decide if you want the cheese to ooze out the sides or not, this will determine how much cheese to put between the bread.
