Grubbs Character Analysis

Is Juni a friend of Garry’s, or a foe? A foe is an enemy or opponent. This gets me, (the reader) wondering about this question after I finished the book, “Blood Beast”, written by Darren Shan. One reason is because several nights around the time of the full moon, Grubbs had a difficult time and was in extreme pain. Juni suggests that they should meet at the cave. Grubbs runs to the cave, where he turns into a werewolf. When he returns to human state, he finds that he has killed Bill-E's grandparents and legal guardians. Not wanting to kill again, he and Juni decide to run away. Another reason is because they board a plane and Grubbs falls asleep. When he awakes, the cockpit opens and demons appear on the plane, and then begin attacking the passengers. Is Juni trying to help Grubbs or is she trying to hurt him? My inference is that she is trying to hurt him, and is a foe of Grubbs, not a friend.
Juni did nothing to help. She was the one who told him to meet her there. I believe that she is the one who set up this whole plan. That she wants Grubbs to do harm on others. For example, Juni states firmly, “Meet me at the cave, ok? Be sure to be there. I will.” To clarify, Juni is acting like she is commanding Grubbs to do what she says. She says it firmly like she really means it. Like if Grubbs goes to the cave, she will get a benefit when only Grubbs is supposed to. Another example states, “What happened?! Why is there blood? Did I transform to a beast? Why didn’t you do something Juni? Bill-E, what will he say if I say that I killed relatives?” This means that Grubbs is shocked on what happened. He wanted Juni to stop him. Juni did nothing. She is acting like she is on to Grubbs. Not in a good way though. In a bad
