The 21st century has proved to be one of the most technology advances that mankind has ever seen. For example an unmanned aerial aircraft is capable of being flown over Afghanistan from an Unmanned Pilot based right outside Las Vegas, Nevada. Today we are capable of conducting unmanned missions to Mars to learn and discover the uninhabited planet. NASA is developing the capabilities needed to send humans to an asteroid by 2025 and Mars in the 2030s.
Mars is the 4th planet from the sun. It has always been the 3rd race in space since man first reached space and man landed on the moon. Mars has had robotic explorers study the planet for over 40 years. Ever since the International Space Station has been put into orbit it has given scientists and medical professionals a great way to study the effect of space on human anatomy over long periods of time. NASA will send a robotic mission to capture and redirect an asteroid to orbit the moon. Astronauts aboard the Orion spacecraft will explore the asteroid in the 2020s, returning to Earth with samples.
Orion spacecraft will be heavily relied on as the most powerful launch vehicle ever flown in space. Robotic space craft and rovers are on and around mars already. These machines have helped to drastically spread knowledge of the red planet. These machines are and will be a huge benefit to helping astronauts survive on Mars. Without these machines it’s hard to be able to predict the future of the astronauts as they head towards their Journey to discover the red planet themselves in 2030s.
Future of Mars with Humans is a thought many have wrote about and even made numerous movies about. Learning about the planet for more than over 40 years to finally send a Human there will be one of the biggest events in History. Once astronauts reach the planet one could predict there to be Martians of some kind to shoot lasers that shrink
